Lenore Lodge is located at the heart of an outdoors-man’s paradise.
A few hundred yards to the south is the Clearwater River. The Clearwater sustains abundant runs of Spring and Fall Chinook as well as Fall and Winter Steelhead. Great fishing holes are just a few minutes walk or drive from the lodge’s front door. If you own a boat and want to bring it with you, there is a public boat launch just a few hundred yards from the lodge. To get the full experience of the Clearwater, and what it has to offer, we recommend booking a guided fishing trip with Reel Time Fishing. The guides at Reel Time Fishing have years of experience fishing the Clearwater for Salmon and Steelhead.
Dworshak Reservoir is 20 miles from the Lodge and provides fishing, hunting, and leisure activities. The Reservoir is 53 miles long, providing access to over 13 recreation areas.Popular activites include swimming, boating, fishing, hunting, water-skiing, camping, hiking, and lots more. Anglers fish for kokanee salmon, rainbow trout and smallmouth bass.
If hunting is what you’re after, the lodge provides access for White-tail deer, Mule deer, Elk, Moose, Chucker, Pheasant, Geese, Ducks, and more! Deer can be seen roaming around the lodge in the mornings and evenings, as well as any other hillside you can see. Great Elk and Moose hunting is just a short drives away. Waterfowl can be hunted from the Clearwater river by boat or by land. If you prefer to chase Pheasants, the Lodge is surrounded by wheat fields on the higher grounds. We recommend getting a hold of Little Canyon Shooting to get you set up with a successful hunt. Little Canyon Shooting has private hunting grounds just minutes from the Lodge.
